Kohinoor Granite and Marble was established in 1976 at Bombay by Mr. Anees Ur Rehman - one of the pioneer entrepreneurs in the stone industry in India. Subsequently it has expanded and extended its activity to the southern part of India in collaboration with Mr. G.C. Salecha a veteran in granite industry by setting up whole sale and retail show rooms at Bannerghatta main road, Bangalore, the Hub of Granite Industry in India. In its endeavor for backward integration, the company has set up two manufacturing units of its own at Bangalore in addition to a network of vendor developments, exclusive domestic marketing rights of Sun Granites.
